January 13, 2012: Aaaaand snow halfway up my shins. Holy mother what have I gotten myself into? 

January 28, 2012: After 3 broken nails and a fall down half a flight of stairs with an end table in hands, I have successfully moved to my new apartment.

             March 15, 2012: Almost one year living in Chicago and still can't believe I made it happen.

April 14, 2012: Wow. It's been one year today since I moved to Chicago. Would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

May 5, 2012: First kickball game...we lost 19-2. Oh well, we just went to the bar next door and started drinking. Go team!

May 8, 2012: Quote of the night: "Just watch the replay on the Jumbotron..." (psssstt...there is no Jumbotron at Wrigley).

May 24, 2012: I tried to prepare my fridge/pantry for my parent's visit but all I bought was a case of bud light.

January 19, 2013: So I quit my job yesterday and start at another (WITH FULL BENEFITS!!!!!) in two weeks! What a week...

January 23, 2013: I'm not getting outta bed til the heat cuts on.

February 7, 2013: I can't say much BUT I just cleaned the teeth of a very, VERY famous NBA player's baby mama. Say that 5 times fast.

April 8, 2013: An audible groan in the Hucko/Degen apartment tonight as the 7-day forecast came on the news. Rain, rain, rain.

April 9, 2013: An NBA player just sang "I Would Do Anything For Love" to me before I cleaned his teeth. It was the weirdest, coolest moment of my life.

April 10, 2013: Just got so pissed off with umbrella+wind that I threw the umbrella in the street and just kept walking.

April 14, 2013: Okay okay okay okay, I admit it, I'm ready for warm weather and sun. But don't think I won't miss winter terribly!!
